These are some of the many photos I took in my early teens of my late grandmother, Emilie Nolle. We used to visit her in Mönchengladbach at her retirement home. Whenever we arrived my sister and I would race up the stairs to be the first to see her. Her room had the number 116 (Zimmer 116).
