In the late 90s I worked as a dishwasher and I would regularly bring my camera to work. A few years later I self-published (and financed) a magazine aptly called Dirty Dishes Magazine. It contained commissioned essays, 1950s clipart, poems, how-tos and my photos and even a poem by Brian Luff. The magazine went on sale in a single record shop in Little Five Points, Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 2000. I don’t know how many sold.
